“Cheers Walk” Charity Walkathon Fundraising

The Mental Health Association of Hong Kong (MHAHK), mother organisation of MentalCare Connect, organized a fundraising event named “Cheers Walk” on November 26, 2017 (Sunday) at HKSTP in Shatin. The objective of the walkathon is to raise fund and create job opportunities for disable and disadvantaged people. Mr. Yam Mun Ho, District Social Welfare Officer (Tai Po/North) of Social Welfare Department, and Ms. Winnie Young, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, 2015 - 2020 of Wai Yin Association, were invited to be officiating guests in the event.

“MentalCare Connect” participated proactively in the event as the company is as one of the beneficiaries. Mr. Chung Wai Shing, CEO of MentalCare Connect, led a team of a colleagues to participate in the walkathon. Besides, Gordon Kei and Jessica Lee from “Cheers Gallery” and “Cheers Café” respectively were invited to share their experience and their dreams to the future. MHAHK set up booths and photo areas for introducing social enterprise and MentalCare Connect, as well as promoting the importance of mental health.
